Whether you're fishing by yourself or with a group, Route Lake Lodge gives you access to the lakes and boats you need to reel in the big one. Route Lake is approximately 9000 acres with two 7 mile long fingers with plenty of sheltered bays. The main lake has northern, walleye, perch, bass and lake trout. Plus, there are three portage lakes off the main route and seven drive-to lakes our staff takes you too.

Most fishing is done independently, but guides are available upon request, as are boats, motors, and gas when you purchase a fishing package. We do not sell fishing or hunting licenses, guides are $220.00 per day.

All of our Princecraft, Alumacraft and Lund 16'and 17' flat floor boats are equipped with 25and 30 HP Yamaha electric start motors, swivel seats, fish locator, net, anchor minnow buckets and coolers for the fish. Due to the high cost of equipment, guests using boats and motors without guides are responsible for all physical damage.

We sell/rent bait (minnows, leeches, and nightcrawlers). Lower Unit Insurance.
